 What is a botnet?

Botnet is made up of two words Bot and net, Bot means robot and net means internet. The malware are turning our computer into a bot. These computer are performs automated tasks over the internet without our knowing. Mostly Criminal purpose is to  use these  bots to infect large number of computers. These computers form a network which is popularly called as botnet.

How botnet work?

• Computer gets infected by malware
• These Computers are log into command and control the server.
• Attackers are access those services.
• Attackers  exploit the computer with the help of   botnet  for malicious purpose.
